A child role-playing as a dentist with a friend at the office

For Parents

Your first
visit

Welcome to our office!

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association recommend that children have their first dental visit by age one. It's our mission to make your child's first visit to the dentist enjoyable, positive, and educational.

The purpose of this first visit is to provide you and your family with the knowledge and skills to care for your child's teeth now and in the future, as well as to establish a dental home for your child. We will review brushing and flossing, then clean your child's teeth. Depending on your child's risk for developing cavities, x-rays may or may not be taken. We will also provide a nutritional consultation and preventative program for your child. We will then discuss our findings and recommend treatment options.

A word about
finances

Dental insurance can be confusing. We're happy to help.

Please call our office to discuss any questions you may have before your child's appointment. Payment is expected at the time of your visit. As a courtesy to you we will process all your insurance claims. We ask that you pay the deductible and co-payment, which is the estimated amount not covered by your insurance company, at the time we provide service to you. We must emphasize that this is only an estimate and all charges you incur are your responsibility regardless of your insurance coverage. We will do our best to maximize your insurance benefit.

For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We also offer patient payment plans.
